The Road Less Travelled ( Unreal Engine Environment)

For this project, I wanted to experiment with mud and making a scene look dirty using textures in Ureal Engine. This was before any of the cool Nanite tech, so my plan was to rely on textures for the most part.

Beauty shot of the final scene. In retrospect, I think I made the scene way too muddy. I am a believer that Less is More in art, but I not back then.

This is just a shot of the scene without any lighting treatment. I just want to show you how much carrying the textures did.

A wiremesh shot. This is technically a game environment, but because I was experimenting with mud, I really did not put any limits in my poly usage.
