Modular Sci-Fi Environment (WIP -UE5)

This is a work in progress modular environment in UE5.
The goal here is simple: Create a scifi modular environment, with assets that I can reuse to create different versions of the same level.

This entire level blockout is built out of 15- 20 pieces. Note how I am using textures in here to make sure that my scale is right. Later those will come into play when modelling the mid size and small size props and textures.

As I often do, I start my projects with a mood board with 10-15 images tops.

Map layout design. I am adding notes as I go and thinking about assets that could help me tell the story. This is important to keep in scope.

This is more a zone map of the layout. It helps me understand the flow of the level.

This usually how I structure my projects in Unreal, and this also shows how many blockout assets I am using to contruct the scene. Later, these assets will be taken to Blender to continue development.

The reason for using different color versions of the same texture at this stage, is to plan detail varation. Each color represents variations that I can later achive with textures or geometry changes.
